Founded in 1890 by Mr. Gonshiro Kubota, Kubota Corporation (Osaka, Japan) began manufacturing water pipes to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. In line with its key values which are innovation, quality, service and environmental concerns, Kubota Corporation has developed 3 core businesses:
- industrial and agricultural machines (tractors, landscaping equipment, construction machinery, industrial diesel engines),
- industrial systems and materials (steel pipes, valves),
- environmental engineering (solid waste and sewage treatment and recycling plants, submerged membrane filters, water treatment plants).
Kubota Europe, a subsidiary of Kubota Corporation Japan, has been established in the town of Argenteuil, in the suburb of Paris. It is located on a 40,000 m² site, within a 7,000 m² totally dedicated to Spare Parts. In April 2008, Kubota Europe inaugurates its new assembly line which can assemble up to 1,500 tractors per year.
Thanks to a large network of nearly 650 distributors, Kubota Europe distributes its products in all the European countries. Number 1 in Europe with its mini-excavators, compact tractors and industrial diesel engines under 50 hp, Kubota Europe continues its expansion continually. In May 2008, Kubota Europe decided to launch the New M series with 16 new agricultural tractors.
